Client onboarding for your Italian structure

Describe what you plan in Italy: the vehicle or an open choice, the owners, the directors and the services. A person in our Milan office reads it, Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 18:00, Milan time, and replies by the channel you choose. Nothing is charged or uploaded here.

Each questionnaire is read by a person in our Milan office.

How it works

  1. 1

    Send the questionnaire

You: the vehicle or an open choice, the owners, the directors, the services. No documents yet

  2. 2

    We review and reply

A person in our Milan office: the routes open to you and what each requires. The choice stays yours

  3. 3

    Documents, the notary, the filings

Documents through a secure link, the deed before a notary, then the Register filings

From your answers to the deed, in three steps.
  1. Send the questionnaire

Describe the vehicle you have in mind, or leave the choice open, then the people who will own and run it and the services you need. No documents yet.

  2. We review and reply

A person in our Milan office reads your answers and replies with the routes open to you, what each one requires and our fee on request. The choice stays yours.

  3. Documents, the notary, the filings

Once you decide, we ask for documents through a secure link. A notary receives the deed of an S.r.l., S.r.l.s. or S.p.A., and the Register filings follow.

How we handle your answers

Nothing is uploaded or paid on this page. Your answers travel over an encrypted connection, through Cloudflare and our mail provider Resend, to our mailbox on this domain. Identity documents and company papers come later, through a secure link we send once you decide to go ahead.

With the form we also record technical context about the visit: IP address, city-level location, browser, referring page and the pages viewed. It helps us filter abuse and answer well. The controller is FormaItalia B.V., Milan; the privacy policy sets out what is kept and for how long. A question first? Use our contact page.

Frequently asked questions

Does sending the questionnaire commit me to anything or cost anything?

No. The questionnaire is an enquiry: nothing is charged and nothing binds you. Once we know your plan, we quote our fee on request, and work starts only when you accept it. An invoice is paid later on our payment page. If you would rather ask a question first, write to us through the contact page.

I have not chosen the company form yet. Should I still send it?

Yes. Choose "Not decided yet" and describe the business, who will own it and who will run it. Our reply sets out the routes open to you, such as an S.r.l., an S.p.A., a branch or a subsidiary, and what each one requires. The choice of vehicle stays yours.

Can you provide a nominee shareholder or a nominee director?

Not as a name lent. Shares can be held by a fiduciary company (società fiduciaria) authorised and supervised by the Ministry of Enterprises, which publishes the list of authorised fiduciary companies in Italian. The beneficial owner is still identified and reported. A director living in Italy is a person the members appoint, with a director's full duties and liability.

Why do you ask me to confirm where the funds come from?

Notaries and banks must identify their clients and the beneficial owners behind them under Italy's anti-money-laundering rules. Confirming the lawful origin of the funds now tells us you can support those checks when they come. The documents themselves are asked for later, through a secure link, never through this form.

Do I have to travel to Italy to sign?

Not necessarily. An S.r.l. or S.r.l.s. with its seat in Italy and cash capital can be formed online by videoconference, as the notaries' guide to the online S.r.l. explains in Italian. The notary can issue a qualified electronic signature, and the capital is wired to the notary's dedicated account. Otherwise, someone signs for you under a special power of attorney.
